YouTube Channel Project
For the several classes we will be working on creating youtube channels w/ your google accounts
STEP ONE: Log in to your gmail accountSTEP TWO: Go to youtube.com
STEP THREE: Click "My Channel" on the left side bar
STEP FOUR: Edit Channel Icon (Profile Image)
STEP FIVE: Add Channel Art (Remember you can use pixlr.com to edit images)
STEP SIX: Add Channel Description
STEP SEVEN:
Go to the "Creator Studio" and make a video playlist. The playlist
should be at least 10 videos connected with a theme. Whether it's a
music video mixtape, or sports highlights, or whatever else you'd like.

STEP ONE: Go to www.gmail.com and login to your Google account
STEP TWO: Click here to go to weebly.com
Sign up for a free account using your google account, and then follow the prompts to begin creating your website.
STEP THREE: At the end of class make sure to log out of your weebly & gmail accounts.
We will work on your websites for the next few classes.

Comic Strips

STEP TWO: Use the bitstrips tools to create a comic strip
STEP THREE: Save the comic either by taking a screenshot (Press the "Print Screen" button), pasting the image in Microsoft Paint, cropping the image to just your comic, and saving the file to your computer.

Today we will be using giphy.com to make your own animated gifs!
STEP ONE: Go to http://giphy.com/create/gifmaker
STEP TWO: Find a video on youtube.com w/ a clip you want to make a gif out of, and paste the url into the text box on giphy
STEP THREE: Adjust the "start time" and "duration" of the clip to create the gif you want from the video
STEP FOUR: Add a caption to your gif
STEP FIVE: Click “Create Gif”
STEP SIX: Right click on your gif and save it to your computer

Graphic Design - Photo Editing
Today we will be experimenting with Graphic Design using the online photo editing tool PIXLR
STEP ONE: Go to - https://pixlr.com/editor/
STEP TWO: Find a photo or photos that you would like to work with. (It can be anything so long as it is appropriate for school)
You can upload an image from your computer, or add an image from the internet, or start with a blank canvas.
STEP THREE: Experiment with the tools in Pixlr. (If you're stuck for ideas try applying filters to your photo)
STEP FOUR: Save at least one of your edited photos to the 7th grade "Student Work Upload" folder on the Upper Lab Drive
